Designing Products People Actually Return To

Retention is the quiet signal that a product is doing its job. Not the number of downloads, not the splashy launch, but the small decision a user makes to open the app again tomorrow.
At Stroom, we design for return by making the next step obvious. Every screen answers one question: what should the user do now, and why would they want to? When that answer is clear, trust builds. When it isn't, users drift.
The teams we work with often come to us with features. We turn those features into flows, then we cut the flows until only the essential motion remains. The result is rarely louder; it is simply more useful.
Working on something similar? See the product design work we have shipped for founders and scale-ups, read how our research led design process works, or tell us what you are building.
