E-commerce UX design

Online, a sale is lost in a few moments: a part that might not fit, a size that might be wrong, a fee that appears at checkout. We research how your customers buy, then design stores and ordering apps that answer those questions before they are asked.

What we focus on

  • Finding the right item: vehicle-first search, rooms instead of catalogues, a size guide on every product.

  • No surprises: every fee, delivery time and payment option shown before checkout.

  • Repeat orders in a few taps, from the cart to B2B reorders by supplier.

What the research says

  • 70.22%of online carts are abandoned, on averageBaymard, Sep 2025
  • 20%of abandoners leave over slow deliveryBaymard, Sep 2025

Decisions we made

MotoGT

  1. Vehicle-first search

Make, model and year before anything else. It’s the category’s strongest pattern and cuts wrong-fit orders.

DeCasa

  1. Build your room

60% of UK shoppers in one survey had bought the wrong size online. A floor plan answers “will it fit?” before browsing.

Fixtuur survey via LogisticsIT, Dec 2025

Amrak

  1. Price lists by client and unit

B2B runs on negotiated terms: piece, shrink of 6, carton of 24, with dates and one price per unit.

Repair

  1. A size guide on every product

82% of apparel sites lack enough sizing information, and poor fit is the main reason for returns.
